On 23 February, the great hall of the Music Hall theatre hosted the concert For the Glory of the Fatherland. The events were held in celebration of Defender of the Fatherland Day.
The program was performed by The St. Petersburg Northern Sinfonia Orchestra of the Music Hall Theatre led by the Maestro Fabio Mastrangelo. The program featured choir and soloists of the Music Hall Theatre such as Anna Vikulina, Pavel Shnipov, Tigry Bazhakin and Dmitry Mulyarchik. Choirmaster — Lev Dunaev, musical preparation — Irina Teplyakova.
Defender of the Fatherland Day is celebrated in our country annually. It was established by the federal law ‘On the days of military glory (victory days) of Russia’, which was signed by the President of the Russian Federation in 1995.
