The musical and visual performance The Journey of the Blue Arrow was shown on 19 February in the great hall of the Music Hall theatre. The event took place under the Music and Fairy Tale season cycle.
 
The fairy tale was read out by the Honoured Artist of Russia Evgenia Igumnova and theatre and film actor Andrey Noskov to the accompaniment of the St. Petersburg Northern Sinfonia Orchestra conducted by Arseny Shuplyakov.
 
The Journey of the Blue Arrow is a famous fairy tale by the renowned Italian writer Gianni Rodari. Its plot focuses on a story about children who did not get any New Year gifts. And then the magic toys decided to escape from the toy shop in order to make themselves a gift for poor kids and arrange a real holiday for them.
 
The idea of the season cycle had been put forth by Alla Maslovskaya. Directed by Ilya Arkhipov.
